These sisters have a secret!! ~~shhhhhh!~~~~
They have their very own American Girl dolls! LOL!!
We have only ever had 2 other American girl dolls. Our Molly (would be 30) had an American girl, Asian doll, that had her very own wheelchair. (since broken) And Grace (now 23) had the books and American girl sets from Addy. But we could never afford the "big" Addy doll.
For these two, we saved and saved their birthday money and money gifts of $$ for their hard work and......TA-DA!!
They were so excited!
Lysa on the right (above) wanted to buy the Molly American girl doll. A dear friend had sent us a Samantha book, so Kitty on the left (above) had wanted Samantha! You see Samantha was raised by her rich Grandmother! I'm not rich in money, but I am rich in boys!, and I am Kitty and Lysa's bio-Grandma! ;o)
I figured out that Lysa really wanted the "Molly" American girl, because she had glasses! Lysa likes glasses because I have glasses. So we bought Lysa's doll glasses, and sun glasses.
Kitty wants to get her doll a retainer like hers next! LOL!!
I picked the dolls that looked the most like them. Now they are writing their American girl stories!
Later I found 4 beautiful handmade dresses for 1/2 price on ebay! I'm too busy to make them dresses right now. :o(
This doll's hair looks "auburn" in these photos but its not. Its brown.
The pictures of the boxes were done over and over, Tom was trying hard not to get glare off the plastic! LOL!!
We ended up with lots of our famous out takes- the girls getting goofy!
Can they ever be serious?.........I guess not! LOL!
Love to see them having fun! They work so hard!
On Monday and Tuesday we got another nice snowfall and they took turns running out in the snow! Poor dad- they made extra shoveling for him! :o(
Those darn snow angels! he-he!! ;o)

It's always great to receive a gift you've waited so long for. :) I still have my Chrissy doll from 1973. I loved her because she was the only doll I'd ever seen with deep red hair and brown eyes like me. :) And she was a nice fat 9mo size baby. I know how your girlies feel. Thanks for posting!
