My helper girls!

These precious girls are only 11 months apart in age.
Elizabeth (left) aka Lysa and Katherine (right) aka Kitty. Ages 9 & 10. They are my daughter Shirley's birth daughters. They have lived with us since they were born. They both laugh exactly like Shirley~ and often when I hear them it brings me back 24 years ago when Shirley was their age. Shirley was such a happy joyful child! Lysa and Kitty are more serious! Both girls make me smile every morning and I thank God when I see their precious beautiful faces.

When my mom saw Lysa as a baby she could not believe how much she looked like me! By the time Lysa was three, I realized she also "thought" like I did when I was little! I was a very serious child! Lysa looked so much like my Isaiah (2 years younger than her) that in baby photos we can only tell them apart by who has pink or blue on! LOL!

Kitty's personality is a lot like her birthmom. But looks more like her birthfathers side. She has my Shirley's big happy smile, that Shirley inherited from her Aunt Mary, Tom's sister.

These girls help me so much everyday!
They also excel at their homeschool. Lysa is in 6th grade. And Kitty is in 3rd grade. Lysa is very bright for her age. Math is her best subject.

This precious girl now 12, is growing too fast. :o) She too makes me smile every morning. She is the first to ask me what I need help with. She can do so much now. She has taken over several of Gabriel's chores. She is in the 7th grade homeschool. She is incredibly smart, considering it was predicted by the Drs that she'd have difficult learning disabilities. I can't explain to you how she learns! LOL! But however she does it, it is amazing!

These girls are never taken for granted by us. The JOY they give us is priceless. And we hope and pray they know and remember how cherished they are.

It is my gift from God that I am able to feed them, cook for them, care for them, teach them. God brought them to us. birthmom's may have birthed them, but God brought them here. And we cherish every moment we have with them! I am beyond blessed!
