Tea Time!

One of the things we LOVE about homeschooling is the gift of time with our children! Teaching them values to last a life time! I love the products at Vision Forum. They teach skills to boys and girls that can be used throughout their lives!
Here's Katherine in her heirloom Cotton Floral Battenberg Apron, and her white lace gloves, from Vision.
These will fit them for years!
And Elizabeth.........well gloves kind of aren't her thing. But she loves how they look!
Faith is our hostess with the mostess. She says- are you ready to join us for tea?
Mmmmm! Everything looks great!
Lovely pouring Faith!
No real food today~ we had a big meal. But we just had to try out the newly washed tea set- again from Vision Forum. A very nice strudy set that will last through many teas!
This table is where our group home gals eat. It's in the kitchen.
Sometimes we "tea" in the dining room and upstairs on the homeschool table.
They set a beautiful table! :o)
I LOVE that I witness this first hand. My girls, so precious at these ages. Making precious memories together!
Wait!! Faith!! Do not pick up your cake with your lace gloves!!
Cheers?? Do not do "cheers" with your cake silly girls!!
Elizabeth says "these lace gloves are itchy!" She likes how they look, but wearing them, um, is a whole different thing!
What??!! No Katherine- no cream on your cake!!
Oh Katherine, you pour tea so daintily. Such a little lady! :o)
Katherine??? Why are you feeding Elizabeth her cake? She's still trying to decide if she can wear these itchy lovely gloves!
Clean up!!
Boy that was fast.
Katherine whisks away the dirty cake plates.
Because now we will just enjoy our tea!!
Katherine, I don't think Elizabeth wants that piece of fuzz in her tea.
But Elizabeth does want to empty the entire sugar bowl into her tea!!
Oh! My!!
"Cheers"!!!
Now this is more appropriate girls!
Good job!! :o)

And this guy?
Well he only attends a tea party for the food! If it's play food he won't participate! LOL!!
So next time when we set out Grandma's home made Christmas cookies and sip hot apple cider sent from our precious friends in DE (Thank You!!). Isaiah will join them!

I don't know what I would do if I could not homeschool these most precious blessings/gifts! My days would certainly be incomplete.

I love these pictures, Elizabeth. They bring back good memories. My girls used to love tea parties. They used to call themselves Tea Parties, Inc. and make out little order sheets for their tea parties. Those were the days! Glad you are still enjoying them!
