Freshening up the bloggies!

I can't believe it's been so long since I posted here!

For the last 2 weeks, the older kids have been going to the Dr weekly to make sure the viruses don't go into ear infections and pneumonia. They just haven't been getting better.

And 3 new little boys have now almost finished up 12 Dr visits for their coming home exams.

Work with SP and MA is a challenge as they age.

I had set a goal of trying to clean out the things we no longer need or use in the house, to a level I've never before done. It's time to save nothing! LOL!! Especially if Grace can use it, I can sell it, or it helps someone at the pregnancy resource thrift store.

January is birthday month for these two!
This one turns 9 in January. (my surprise baby!)

This one just turns 12 in January!!
(oh not my Baby! We called her Baby until she was 3 yrs old. The Dr asked her what her name was and she said "My Baby"!)

We have spent the WHOLE month celebrating!! We don't have time with surgeries etc. to set the whole day aside! So a few days each week we have had birthday day surprises~ a small gift, or a special dinner, or a special cake, or a fun activity of their choice. We have been having fun spreading it out.

January is a cold month of below zero weather here with little chance for us all to get out. The birthday kids are sick, and choose to nap luxuriously under warm blankies during their afternoons. Isaiah still hops into my bed at nap time, which means I can't get an afternoon nap! No room for two in the full size bed anymore! :o(

This year Faith receives the added privilege of staying up until 10 p.m. (the other 3 go to bed at 9 p.m., the little boys go to bed at 7 p.m.) She loves the privilege of being up with mom, dad and Gabriel! Although often Gabriel falls asleep before 10 p.m.! LOL! She has had added responsibilities starting this last fall. She took over Gabe's job of feeding, putting out and cleaning up after 2 big dogs. And a few other things Gabe can't do now that he has a job!

Homeschooling is going very well! We miss having Gabe as a student. But the 5 little boys are adding enough OT/PT for me to do, taking up the time I spent on Gabe.

Sometimes I wish time could just stand still for a while as we savor these beautiful family moments~ my gifts from God!
